canonical descriptions

Short (50 words)

ımyo (異名, "another name") is an institutional, AI-first decentralised lending protocol — multichain, but siloed: one sovereign silo per major DeFi ecosystem, launching with Sui and Ethereum together. Continuously AI-audited, with siloed liquidity between chains and real-world assets as first-class collateral. Edge-hardened by Cloudflare. Mainnet launch is planned for Q3 2026.

Long (150 words)

ımyo is a decentralised lending protocol designed for the institutional balance sheet. Its name comes from the Japanese 異名 (imyō, "another name") — positioning the protocol as the institutional alias for safer DeFi. The architecture is built around three principles. Siloed liquidity: each ecosystem deployment — Sui and Ethereum at launch, then Solana, Base, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Chain and Aptos — is a sovereign silo sharing no collateral, receipt tokens or bridge dependencies with any other, so a failure on one chain cannot contaminate any other. Continuous AI audit: an Auditor Swarm reviews every code change before deployment; a Sentinel Swarm runs 24/7 after, with cryptographic attestations from inside Trusted Execution Environments. RWA-native collateral: tokenised Treasury Bills, commercial paper and private credit, with AI-adjusted loan-to-value ratios. The protocol's perimeter runs entirely behind Cloudflare for sub-second edge response. Mainnet is planned for Q3 2026.

Approved quotes.

attribute as shown
"The April 2026 contagion was not the failure of a protocol — it was the failure of an architecture that made one protocol's failure equivalent to everyone's. The institutional market cannot underwrite that. ımyo begins from the opposite assumption: isolation is the security primitive." — ımyo team, on the Kelp post-mortem
"Periodic audits are an artefact of a slower era. The threat surface in DeFi mutates every block; the audit cadence has to mutate with it. Continuous AI auditing, with cryptographic attestation from inside a Trusted Execution Environment, is not a feature — it is the new baseline for institutional code." — ımyo team, on continuous audit
"Five published projections — McKinsey, Citi, Ark, BCG, Standard Chartered — converge on the same direction. On-chain tokenised assets cross 10% of global GDP this decade. The remaining institutional question is not whether to be on-chain. It is which venue to trust." — ımyo team, on the institutional outlook
